Last updated: May 14, 2025
Thank you for choosing InboxNull. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency, respect, and care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
1. Who We Are
InboxNull ("we", "us", or "our") provides human + AI-powered email cleanup and organization services. While we are not yet registered as a legal entity, we intend to operate under U.S. jurisdiction.
2. What Information We Collect
When you use InboxNull, we may collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, contact information you provide when you fill out forms, sign up for services, or contact us.
- Inbox Access Data: With your explicit consent, we gain temporary access to your email inbox to clean, organize, and maintain it. This includes:
- Email addresses of senders and recipients
- Subject lines
- Message content (only where needed)
- Folders, labels, filters, and metadata
- Usage Data (when applicable in the future): Device type, browser, access time, and actions taken within our dashboard or services.
We do not collect or store passwords or sensitive account credentials unless explicitly required and securely handled.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:
- Deliver our inbox cleaning and maintenance services
- Identify high-priority, low-priority, or irrelevant emails (based on your instructions)
- Set up folders, rules, and filters to keep your inbox organized
- Communicate with you about your account or support requests
- Improve and personalize your experience with InboxNull
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
4. How We Access Your Inbox
To deliver our services, we require direct access to your email inbox. This access may be granted through:
- Manual Credentials: You may provide your login information directly to our team. These credentials are used solely for the duration of the service and are never stored permanently.
- Third-party Email Clients: In some cases, we may use secure, trusted email clients (such as Spark Mail or Superhuman) to access and interact with your inbox. These tools are selected for their security and performance, and your data is never shared beyond what is required for the service.
All access is time-limited and can be revoked by you at any time.
5. Who Has Access to Your Inbox
- Human Operators: Our team may access your inbox during the setup and cleaning process. These team members are vetted and trained to respect confidentiality.
- AI Tools: We may use language models or automation scripts to classify or summarize content based on patterns — without storing your data permanently.
- Third Parties: While we currently limit our use of third-party services, we may in the future integrate with tools such as Google Workspace APIs. If so, you will be notified and given control over access and permissions.
All access is logged, time-limited, and restricted to what is necessary.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We implement a combination of security practices, including:
- Secure encrypted storage (when applicable)
- End-to-end encrypted connections
- Access control policies
- Manual review protocols
No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we strive to follow best practices to safeguard your data.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
- We retain data only for the period necessary to provide our services.
- You may request deletion of all your data (including inbox access and stored logs) at any time by emailing contact@getinboxnull.com.
- Once deleted, we cannot recover any data.
8. Cookies, Tracking & Analytics
We currently do not use cookies or analytics tools on our website. However, we plan to implement services such as Google Analytics and other tracking technologies in the future to improve user experience, understand behavior, and guide product development.
When these tools are introduced, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism where required by law.
